Among her many beauties, Santorini is famous across Greece for her glorious Easter celebrations.

Being as our studio is based in Santorini, we felt compelled to dive into the islands culture and capture the true face of its residents.

We saw this ocassion as an undeniable opportunity to portray life on the island, away from the caldera and away from the crowds. We were humbled to be a part of these moments that are presented in a series of projects, due to the richness of the material that they so graciously had to offer.

In these photographs you will see real people, that have spent their lives on this island and that have dedicated their time and energy into keeping tradition alive. The importance of these acts cannot go unnoticed as tradition is essentially the backbone of the identity of a place.
